Axe Head
Our standard steel axe head is 8″ x 8″ and hardened for durability and edge retention.
Weight is approximately 5 lbs. Custom sizes upon request.
Axe head is manufactured by Vermont Mold & Tool, Barnet, Vermont.
Remove/Install Kit
Vermont Racing Axes offers this kit to facilitate removing and installing axe handles without damage.
Remove/Install Kit includes:
- standard size brass and aluminum drift
- two stainless steel wedges with pins
- 3/16″ diameter punch
Kit is contained in a handcrafted cherry wood box.
Drift, punch and wedge with pin are available for purchase separately.
